Recent Work (2011 - 2018)
Rudders removed and fittings welded and re-machined to prevent rattle.
Fittings to base of rudders to prevent snagging weed and rope.
Topsides minor gelcoat damage repaired and mechanically polished.
Main ply bulkhead removed, strengthening to under mast support and bulkhead epoxied back in position to provide very strong box section mast support structure.
Antifouling stripped back to epoxy (I was told she was epoxied from new but have no documentation).
Underwater protrusions (originally for transducers but never used) ground off and re-faired with epoxy.
Base of keels strengthened with glass mat and faired in with epoxy (I have no particular reason to believe this strengthening was needed but I have a drying mooring and better safe than sorry!)
Blakes bronze WC skin-fittings removed and serviced. Re-fitted with new bronze bolts.
New skin fitting for new log.
New skin fitting for engine intake.
Non-slip areas sanded back and repainted (International Interdeck grey).
Minor gelcoat damage repaired and mechanically polished.
All windows replaced with bronze tint Perspex (2017) and resealed with neoprene gaskets and bolts - No leaks!
New custom made stainless bow roller fitting extending over bow.
Pulpit removed and re-bedded.
Lofrans windlass removed, stripped down and re-fitted.
New Lewmar ST30 self tailing winch.
New ply/glass/epoxy box made for aft deck storage with 20W solar panel
New telescopic stowaway boarding ladder.
New instrument panel and mahogany/perspex cover.
New Navico Clipper log/sounder, GPS repeater and switch panel.
New adjustable swivel bracket for landscape or portrait tablet.
New Blue Sea 1045 fast charge dual USB charger for tablet.
Companionway door stripped to bare wood. New window and vent and storage box for binoculars, hand-bearing compass and knife. Revarnished (Sikkens Novatech).
New open locker to port bulkhead.
Drip tray fitted over companionway to prevent drips.
Vetus portlights rebedded.
Hydraulic steering drained. Service and new seals to helm pump and ram (by Hypro Marine). Bypass valve fitted to disable hydraulics for self-steering or emergency tiller. Steering ram re-fastened to eliminate play.
New sprayhood with zip front openings.
Much new running rigging.
New cruising chute and snuffer (Crusader).
New vertically battened roller main (Maxiroach).
Main, genoa and staysail (Arun) were new in 2009.
New Lewmar 30ST self-tailing winch.
New wind indicator to masthead.
New cleats for genoa and cruising chute.
New spinnaker sheet blocks and adjustable tack fittings to each bow.
New mainsail sheet traveller car.
Cover fitted to staysail roller reefing to prevent genoa sheet snags.
New flag-halyard cleats to stays.
Engine bay cleaned and re-painted.
New filter fitting and fuel pipes.
All 4 engine mounts renewed.
New 55amp alternator.
New oil seals to main bearing and gear box.

All cables renewed (starting, charging and all service cables)..
